PRIVATE YACHT CRUISE IN THE GREEK ISLANDS

We designed this program with the budget-minded traveler in mind, who still wants to experience a luxurious and relaxing vacation on a private boat without the necessity of previous experience crewing on a vessel, and without the hassle of having to charter a yacht on one's own.

Our 51.2 ft wooden boats feature 4 private cabins with bath, sleeping up to two persons each. Overnight moored in a different port each night with access to all the local infrastructure, restaurants, bars and nightlife. The days are spent sailing, sightseeing or anchoring bays or coves with ample opportunity to swim and relax.
The itinerary is tentative in nature, as local wind and weather conditions may necessitate amendments on the spot by the skipper. Regardless of the final route, you will always be in a town or harbor for the night, and our crews and knowledgeable local representatives will look after your wellbeing.

Tonight, dinner will be served family-style and al-fresco in a restaurant right by the water. [D]
Overnight: Poros

DAY 3 - Monday:
Poros - Hydra
Hydra We start off the day anchoring at a remote bay for swimming and sunbathing; in the afternoon, let's continue to Hydra, the most unique island in the Saronic Gulf - there are no cars permitted on the island. Transportation to the town and the hilltop citadel is accomplished using donkeys and mules. Hydra is also well-known for its crystal-clear waters around the island.
Explore the ramparts of the fortified harbor town, Panagia Monastery which was built using the stones of the Poseidon Temple in Poros, and markets this afternoon, and sip Greek Coffee at a waterfront café while watching the sunset. Tonight you are on your own to explore the ample dining and nightlife option in town.

DAY 5 - Wednesday:
Spetses - Leonidio
Leonidio Cross the Argolic Gulf to the port of Leonidio today (weather conditions permitting), and dock at the port of Plaka. (c) Dinner: many dinners are included in the package. These are usually enjoyed in typical local restaurants, consist of 3 courses and include water and table wine.

BEVERAGES:
Water, soft drinks, and to a limited degree beer and wine, are available on-board for your convenience and incur no extra charge.

The tour director will supply you with information, organize group events and be at your disposal for any questions or concerns you may have. The tour director may travel on the yacht(s) on some days, and meet you at your ports of call on others.

SAILING EXPERIENCE:
No previous sailing experience is needed to participate in one of our Sailing Vacations. We have chosen the islands of the Saronic Gulf because the waters are generally calmer than in other areas of Greece, making traveling easier and more comfortable for first-time boaters.

BOATS:
We normally use "Ocean Yachts" 51.2 ft boats, renowned for their reliability, comfort and spacious interiors.
